Brian May, do Queen, pede para que as pessoas levem a sério a ameaça do novo coronavírus

Brian May, guitarrista do Queen, foi até seu perfil oficial no Instagram para pedir aos fãs que levem a sério a ameaça que o novo coronavírus representa neste momento para todo o mundo.

Compartilhando um artigo com orientações para diminuir a propagação da doença no mundo, o músico destacou que é fundamental que todos mudem seus comportamentos a partir de agora.

“Acho que essa pode ser a coisa mais importante que já postei”, escreveu o guitarrista, criticando o governo britânico na demora em adoções de medidas para conter o avanço da COVID-19 no Reino Unido.

“Minimize seus contatos sociais. Minimize-os, se possível, para quase zero. Quanto mais interações você tiver, mais chances terá de trazer o vírus para ameaçar sua família. Quanto menos pessoas você encontrar, maior será a chance de salvar você e sua família, e maior a chance de limitarmos o dano que essa terrível praga causará”, alerta Brian.

I feel this might be THE MOST IMPORTANT THING I EVER POSTED. There is so much false information out there – people saying the CoronaVirus is not a threat – even that it doesn’t exist. And our own Government has failed to act promptly, acting on catastrophically bad advice, which will eventually be the cause of thousands of deaths. ISOLATE – minimise our social contacts. Minimise them, if possible, to almost zero. The more interactions you have, the more chance you have of bringing the virus in to threaten your family. The less people you meet up with, the better the chance of saving yourself and your family, and the greater chance we will have to limit the damage this awful plague will do.
